Join us for a weekend one-day outing to Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou for Cycling & Buddhist Temple tour on weekend you will also have chance to experience a short meditation class with master and taste the pure vegetarian meals for lunch in temple!

8:30am- 9:00am Bus picking up and departure for Suzhou
9:00- 10:30am arriving at Suzhou after 1.5-hour bus driving
10:30am- 12pm Visit Chongyuan Temple for Buddhist culture and a small meditation class
12pm- 1pm Enjoy Chongyuan Temple vegetarian lunch
1pm –4:30pm Cycling around Lianchi Lake Park, or you can just take a walk around.
5:00-7:00pm Back to Shanghai

Yangcheng Lake (阳澄湖)— Yangcheng Lake is a freshwater lake about 3km northeast of the city of Suzhou. Located between Lake Tai and the Yangtze River, it is most famously known for being the area of origin for the Chinese mitten crabs, which are considered a delicacy. The Lake is also full of other aquatic wildlife, especially freshwater fishes like salmons, turtles, whitefish, eels, shrimps and crabs, which are known collectively as “The Six Treasures in the Yangcheng Lake”.
Chongyuan Temple(重元寺)— Chongyuan Temple is a Buddhist temple constructed in 503 during the reign of Tianjian Emperor Liangwudi, with a history of 1,504 years. It has the highest and heaviest above-water indoor Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) Pavilion in China.
What You Should Bring
Relaxing route with only bring items of small backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, tissues, cash, snack(such as beef jerky, chocolate, etc.), other personal items.
Organizers will provide mineral water, first-aid kit.
