Mooncake 月餅 is the indispensable Chinese dessert served during the mid-autumn festival which falls on the 15th of August of the Chinese lunar calendar, The mooncake is more than just a food. It's a profound cultural tradition deep in Chinese people's hearts, symbolizing a spiritual feeling.
At Mid-Autumn Festival people eat mooncakes together with family, or present mooncakes to relatives or friends, to express love and best wishes. , with the meaning of family reunion.
OKDealTravel and Stewed Vegetables will organize a charity activity——making moon cakes for orphan children from remote Mt. Liangshan area from SIchuan provicne and now studying in Shanghai Shipyard Technical school. All of these hand made moon cakes will be donated to the children as Mid-Autumn Festival gifts with love and best wishes.
There is no border between Love and Charity!
